Born and raised in Ladakh, Traveling and spending time in the mountains has given me a unique understanding of Ladakh & its culture, traditions, people, and hidden corners that many visitors never get to experience. Every journey has strengthened my connection with this land and inspired me to learn more about the places I call home.This passion eventually brought me to Himalayan Freedom, where I have the opportunity to share the beauty of Ladakh and the Himalayas with travelers from around the world

Tsering Gailson

My name is Tsering Gailson. I completed my studies at Panjab University. During my graduation years, I spent my summer holidays working as a trekking guide in the mountains of Ladakh.

I began my career as a tour and trekking guide in 1999, leading my first group of travelers through the beautiful landscapes of Ladakh. Since then, I have successfully guided countless trekking and sightseeing tours across Ladakh, Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Spiti Valley, and Shimla.

In 2012, I established Himalayan Freedom Treks and Tours with the vision of providing authentic, reliable, and memorable travel experiences in the Himalayas. Over the years, my company has worked closely with many international travel agents and tour operators, delivering high-quality trekking, cultural, and sightseeing services throughout Ladakh and the surrounding Himalayan regions.

With more than two decades of experience, I remain committed to sharing the beauty, culture, and adventure of the Himalayas with travelers from around the world.
